Remember a while ago, the original actor who played Scorpion in the previous two films from the 1990’s said they’re planning a reboot to Mortal Kombat? Well, as of now, not much has happened with that yet. Interestingly, director Kevin Tancharoen of Fame, along with Michael Jai White (Black Dynamite, Spawn) crafted a really cool short film about a possible reboot idea.
It runs eight minutes and packs a surprising punch, with its ‘real world’ re-imagining of the characters and the gritty, violent look. Give it a look below, as it is a possible calling card for Tancharoen, who really wants to direct a new MK!
